Maybe a longshot but anyone here connected to the St. Louis Green Party? Their website doesn't list any upcoming public events besides a webinar.

I've been toying with the idea of some sort of Solarpunk/Library Socialism Movement in St. Louis for a while. I do not feel like any current organization deals with the specific issues I'm concerned with in a comprehensive, local way.
As a result, I have a vision I've been toying with that I feel ready to share: https://nextcloud.nullarch.com/s/qkkisXnC5iw2EAX
I'm very open to feedback or interest in this idea/project.
Finally stopped by Dad's Cookies on Louisiana today. Very cool little local shop, and good prices.
Another great informational article about the City elections THAT YOU CAN VOTE IN RIGHT NOW.
One of the interesting things about living somewhere with absolutely inept snow-handling city services is that every storm that has accumulation is like an experiment in traffic re-alignment. #StLouis has so many double lane roads (in both directions) that are effectively reduced to single lanes in each direction when it snows and people stick to the one clear path. And you know what? It doesn't make any difference in how fast I get across town. Would be so easy to replace one or two of those lanes with bike lanes and tree-lined walking paths.
An excellent article about traffic violence in St. Louis and the city's lack of concern, both at Ted Drewe's and in general: https://christianfrommelt.substack.com/p/ted-drewes-carries-a-larger-lesson?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&triedRedirect=true
The first snow was over a week ago, the last snow was Friday. This is the most frequent and highest capacity route in the city. Every stop looks like this. This says "this city doesn't care about pedestrians".
Rode the bus (well, two buses) to work today. Had to get up fairly early. Had an interesting conversation with a stranger at one stop, and ran into a friend at the second. Watched the sunrise, didn't have to park. Pretty good experience for $2.
@codedbydan I will often use both #STL and #StLouis but almost never #SaintLouis. Too many letters and I am very lazy.
Finding local people---how ever you choose to define "local"---could be made easier with geographically focused servers. @JW made a go of it with the now defunct social.stlouist.com but there were never a whole lot of us there.
@McCrankyface That’s what I thought. It’s also hard to agree on how you format a city name (St. Louis could be #STL, #StLouis, #SaintLouis, etc.) or what is considered “local”.
A few more inches of snow this morning in #StLouis! I've enjoyed staying home this past week or so.
alright folks, i’m ready for this winter storm, hoping for some snow!
salt + smoke is one of the best restaurants in st. louis
Pardon the instagram link, but my pal at BikeNetSTL is pushing for improvements on the rams settlement funds spending bill. You can find all the deets here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DDiMD5QygOZ/?img_index=2
