You can either use road space efficiently, or you can have cars.

There's technically one market (super or otherwise) within 1.5km from me, but that's only if you draw a straight line. The only safe path there is really 2km because of this tiny stream. There's private property on each bank so the city won't ever put in a foot bridge to connect residents to the market.
The only way through is this travesty of a "sidewalk" next to a six-lane #stroad. It's only navigable by #bike because a car hopped the curb and took out a sign that blocked the path.
I started ordering from REI back in the 80s and became a “member” in 2003. These days, if I needed anything outdoorsy, my first stop would be Olympia Gear Exchange in downtown Olympia. Check them out!

Beautiful and so very #ArtNouveau silver plated table lamp by Moritz Hacker of Vienna, circa early 1900s.
Featuring a slender mermaid, her arms raised and reclining back into the gracefully arched shape of the lamp stem. This curves forward in fluid form and houses the extremely pretty shell shade.

“The Winter Egg” by Fabergé, 1913. Made of frosted rock crystal, platinum, and rose diamonds, the egg perfectly encapsulates the end of the unforgiving Russian winter and the arrival of Easter. This magical egg was designed by a young woman called Alma Pihl, 23 years old at the time.
