The installation “Landed Rock” by designer and visual artist Clinton Kabena is about migration. In 2022, more than 100 million people worldwide were fleeing war and violence. ☮️

They usually settle in an environment far away from home, which is unknown and new to them. 🚙 🧳

The storied physical bookstores of #amsterdam bundled their energies to create an online presence.

Kudos. If we don't want to turn the planet into a giant automated Amazon warehouse that pushes and pulls our consumption strings we need to support local entities.

@CrimethInc After the extremely framed Tel Aviv #Maccabi hooligan riots in #Amsterdam, there suddenly appeared also some kind of ugly conspiracy leaflet. It came via the Israeli embassy in the Netherlands from the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and 'Combating Antisemitism'. It's part of a PDF they’ve send to Dutch MP's. Of course right wing MP's were very happy with it. 🙄 The report and the diagram had the most ridiculous claims of course.

I share it here blurred, because there are (non-famous) individuals and groups on it that have nothing to do with it. Yes you can find it on the internet if you do your best, but that doesn't mean we have to spread it further. Interesting fact is that they had this report ready 2-3 days after the event.
