:trebuchet: Kale :trebuchet:<p>Home after <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/RPG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RPG</span></a> session.</p><p>Players were all, unfortunately, pretty tired but I got them going, into the wilderness, past the frozen lake and the moose and to the tower.</p><p>They thought - due to a nice red herring - that the cannibals were lupines, and therefore the girl running away was just a girl. Not a single mind or prime scan on her (they were deterred by 'all your magic is vulgar here' as well, so that helped)</p>

Sean<p>Thirty years ago today. <br>It wasn't the first RPG, even the first SquareSoft RPG, that I'd played, but it was foundational to my love of RPGs, to my love of time travel stories, and the plot twist hit me like a punch in the gut, in the very best way.
