Jim Spath<p>Very happy so far using OSMand for navigation from <a href="https://osmand.net/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">osmand.net/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a>. One issue I found is an intersection that does not exist, yet the app said "bear left." The historic road had a grade-level railroad crossing, replaced with a new route over a bridge, decades ago. OSM maps in QGIS show the roads are disjointed, so it is unclear where the <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/OSMand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OSMand</span></a> app sources the nodes.<br>The guidance is correct, just confusing to announce a turn where none is possible while staying on the road.<br>Hmm.</p>
See+Map<p>When I started mapping the first additions in the OsmaAnd app for Openstreetmap at the end of 2015, I never thought I would make 1 million changes. Entered in OsmAnd and then in Potlach2 (because it was beginner-friendly). Then later iD and other apps. Like Mapcomplete, Streetcomplete or Everydoor. 1<br> I can only recommend just getting started.</p><p><a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/osm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>osm</span></a> <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/OpenStreetMap" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OpenStreetMap</span></a> <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/osmand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>osmand</span></a> <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/MapComplete" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MapComplete</span></a> <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/streetcomplete" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>streetcomplete</span></a> <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/EveryDoor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EveryDoor</span></a> <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/Karten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Karten</span></a> <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/Landkarte" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Landkarte</span></a> <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/map" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>map</span></a> <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/opensource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>opensource</span></a></p>
