@Elizafox That just sends me back to 2000s dragonkin culture honestly. Only paths I see from that one are "This person hasn't heard of or seen these subcultures", and "They're not worth knowing at present. Maybe they'll grow up one day but that's not here and now".

Honestly this sort of thing usually feels like someone is deeply uncomfortable with these labels wrt what others will think and I cannot help but think this is due to societal stigma of therians and furries.
